College can be very expensive. You have to pay for classes, books, housing and meal plans. As you can imagine, the expenses tend to add up over time. So as a result, many of our visitors are turning to student loans to help pay for college. State Grants For Women In Ohio

The state of Ohio is currently offering some incredible grants for women to apply for. We have taken the liberty of doing some intensive research and locating the very best scholarships in the state of Ohio as they pertain to women. We looked at a number of factors when compiling this list of grants. So, make sure you check them all out and apply for them if you are interested. Enjoy!

Ohio Baptist Scholarship- If you a member of the American Baptist Church of Ohio then you are eligible to apply for this scholarship. You need to have an interest in going into a full time position in a ministry if you are serious about this scholarship. Please reference the site we have provided to learn more about all the requirements to win this particular scholarship.

Ohio Regents Graduate Scholarship- This is a merit based scholarship which means you will be granted it if you meet a number of requirements including grades, extracurricular activities and test scores. The most recent Regents scholarship handed out was $3,200 but it is handed out every semester so make sure you check the site we have listed to learn about the application requirements and if they are accepting any more applications at this time.

Ohio College Opportunity Scholarship- This is a scholarship that is handed out based on need. Which means that if you actually need this scholarship to go to college then you can apply for it and have a good chance of receiving it. You must be considered to be in a low income situation to apply. You must first complete a FAFSA application to be eligible to receive this grant.

Ohio University Women’s Club Scholarship- If you are a woman (which we assume you are since you are visiting our site ;) ) and you are an incoming freshman to Ohio university you can apply for this grant. You must have accumulated a GPA of 3.5 and have obtained an SAT score of at least 1140 and an ACT score of at least 25. This scholarship can actually get you your entire tuition for your freshman year if you win it. Visit the site to learn more.
